The Buzz is back after taking a week off, as we were swamped with covering the World Wood Bat Championship in Jupiter, FL. Here are some highlights from the last two weeks of recruiting news…

+ LHP Erik Miller (DeSmet HS, MO), the No. 2 prospect in Missouri’s 2016 class, verbally committed to Stanford. At 6-foot-4, 190 pounds, Miller currently pitches in the mid 80s, but has touched 91 from a high-3/4 slot. His curveball has 1/7 shape with sharp, late break at 68-72 mph. He also throws a changeup with near fastball arm speed at 71-73.

+ SS Storme Cooper (Timberland HS, MO) is a slick defender and ranked eighth in Missouri’s 2015 class. He verbally committed to Southern Mississippi recently.
