2021 Future Games Spotlight: Andrew Williamson

The 2021 PBR Future Games has come and gone. The event featured the top uncommitted 2023 and 2024 players around the country representing their home state in front of over 350+ college coaches. Team Florida was a fun and talented squad who showcased their abilities all week. They would go 2-0-1 with wins over Carolina and Mid-Atlantic and a tie vs Georgia.

Post event, we will be spotlighting each member of Team Florida. Continuing with 2023 OF Andrew Williamson. Williamson is a 6-foot, 180 pound outfielder from Northside Christian. Andrew plays travel ball with MVP BEAST FL. An uber athletic outfielder, Williamson had an impressive showing at the Future Games. Ran a 6.82 and showcased an loose electric arm up to 89 mph. Has fluid hands in the box, works pull side with intent with the ability to drive the gaps.

Position: OF/1B

Body: 5-foot-11, 170-pound athletic frame.

Hit: (LHH) Starts in a balanced stance with a tight compact load, then uses a short stride. Above average bat speed. Level finish, short swing. Gap to gap approach.

Power: 95 mph exit velocity, average 76.26 mph. 65.15 mph bat speed average. 18.59 mph hand speed average.

Defense:  (OF) Sure hands, athletic footwork, lengthy developing exchange. Athletic.  Fielded the ball to the side with average movement laterally.

Arm: 89 mph outfield velocity. Short arm action, an-over-the-top slot, consistent accuracy.

Speed: 7.15 (60-yard).
