In a match up that featured Florida recruit, 2018 RHP David Luethje for Vero Beach against Florida recruits SS Mason Denaburg and C/RHP Brady McConnell as well as Miami recruit 1B Connor Allen for Merritt Island would be won by the offensive firepower. Denaburg, McConnell and Allen would combine for eight hits, four runs and six RBIs in a 10-4 win for Merritt Island over Vero Beach.
