The Hotlist: Uncommitted 2018s

By Nathan Rode and PBR Staff

With the summer season around the corner, The Hotlist looks at some uncommitted 2018 prospects that should be followed closely as they become rising seniors.

Nathan Berg, SS/RHP, New Prague HS, MN
Berg is a 6-foot-1, 175-pound two-way player and ranked No. 15 in Minnesota. He runs a 7.35-second 60 and has an athletic set-up with rhythm in his hands. He flashes pop in his bat and has the ability to use the whole field. His actions are easy and he has a clean exchange with soft hands and an accurate arm with carry to his throws. On the mound, he pitches with tempo and rhythm in his delivery, sitting 84-85 mph with his fastball, which has running action and slight downhill plane. His slider is his best secondary pitch with late sweeping action. He has solid action on his changeup, which is thrown with fastball arm speed.
