BRADENTON, FL—The second week of the 2017 IMG National Classic kicked off Monday with eight teams from five states beginning pool play. We started the day with a matchup between Roberson HS, NC, and Western HS, FL.

Roberson jumped out to an early 3-0 lead in the first inning. 3B Collin Watt led the game off with a single and the bases were loaded after a single from LF/2B Spencer Keehan and walk to SS Garrett Blaylock. C Aaron McKeithan then brought two runs home with a double down the left-field line. Blaylock then scored on a single from 2B Luke Wood.
