"We really like this class both on the mound and with our position players. I want to thank Coach Gaura and Coach Mahon for finding the type of players we will be successful here at UE with. There will be immediate contributors throughout this recruiting class. Exciting times here within our program and with the addition of these talented players we feel like the future is bright." - Wes Carroll (Head Coach, Evansville)
Head coach Wes Carroll and staff are bringing in an exciting group in 2020. Adam Euler (F.J. Reitz HS) is a strong, athletic 6-foot-1, 200 pound outfielder with a quick bat from the left-side of the plate. Euler is a solid defender that should roam the Purple Aces outfield for many years. SS Simon Scherry (Heritage Hills HS) is a multi-sport athlete who can defend at a high level and brings leadership qualities that should impact the program right away. Nicholas Smith (Boonville HS) is a physical right-handed arm at 6-foot-4, 235 pounds with an upper 80's fastball that tops out in the low 90's.
