Player Spotlight: Nate Hassed (Blue Valley North, 2019)

1/27/18 - Hassed is a 5-foot-9 160-pound left handed hitting outfielder in Kansas’ 2019 class.  He ran a 6.81 60 and has an 82 mph exit velo. At the plate, starts loaded on back side, controlled leg lift, minimal load, compact swing, pull to middle line drive during hitting evaluations, flashing the ability to go the other way.  On the outfield, 82 mph positional velocity, high three-quarters arm slot, quick catch and throw, creates momentum working behind the ball and through the catch, quick and athletic actions.
