Scouting Report

12/16/2022
Porter  was gaining serious traction after his 2021 Future Games performance before a fall football injury as the athletic IF showed and played well on the National stage. Porter checks a lot of boxes for the next level with the ability to play 2B/SS and plenty of power to play the Corner as well. Sure hands and solid footwork are defensive strengths along with plenty of arm strength. He will surely be a late season steal for any program that lands the high academic young man from Paintsville Kentucky.

Body: 6-foot, 178-pound.

Hit: (RHH) Begins in an athletic quiet stance with a controlled load, then uses a quick stride. Quick bat speed. High finish, short simple swing.

Defense:  (IF) Sure hands, consistent footwork, natural exchange. Solid.  Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were athletic.
