Gabe Guidry, Barbe (LA), 2024 Positional Profile: 1B/3B Body: 6-1, 180-pounds. Physical with broad shoulders and a strong lower-half Hit: RHH. Upright and balanced stance, simple load and stride Back knee drives through front knee, stays connected and inside the ball to contact and stays through the plane of the pitch with a one-handed finish, can drive the ball from gap to gap, hit 2 balls hard to the opposite field during gameplay 67.4 mph bat speed with 10 G’s of rotational acceleration. Power: 92 max exit velocity, averaged 88.2 mph. 318' max distance. Arm: RH. INF-72 mph. Short AA, 3/4 release. Defense: Moved well around the 1B bag, good footwork on double plays both backhand and forehand spinning around, accurate with all throws. ATH: 7.09 runner in the 60.

No stride to get to center before launch. Path works inside the baseball and is flat with slightly uphill extension. Peppered the RCF gap during BP, showing the ability to hit the ball up the middle and to the opposite field. Power: 91.9 max exit velocity, averaged 82.4 mph. 357’ max distance. Arm: RH. Defense: pop times. Run: 7.14 runner in the 60.

Projectable 5-foot-11, 180-pound frame. At the plate, the right-handed hitter had a max exit velocity of 77 mph. Began in a strong stance with a small load, then used a toe tap to initiate his swing. Has a straight-to-the-ball swing plane. Was able to find multiple barrels in his rounds. In the infield, recorded a position velocity of 65 mph; has a clean exchange. Used an-over-the-top slot and a short arm action. During the event, he recorded a 60 time of 8.18.
