Scouting Report
1/09/21
Athletic and physical 6’0” 188 lbs. frame. Starter profile with a solid and durable frame. Starts in the middle of the rubber and stays there throughout the delivery. Deliberate and up-tempo wind up. Stayed on line and straight to the plate, finishing with shoulders and hips square. Brings the ball down once he breaks his hands into a long and loose arm action that projects well. Releases the ball from a ¾ arm slot that produced a max FB velocity of 84 mph, sitting 81-83 mph, albeit on a cold day. Velo will tick up in warmer weather. FB had natural arm side run. SL sat 70-73 mph and was “2-8” in shape with excellent depth and break, starting in the middle of the plate and breaking to what would be a RHH’s back knee. “1-7” shaped CB that looks to be used as a “get me over” pitch that sat 65-66 mph. Developing CH at 75-78 mph. One of the quickest risers in the 2022 class and a high follow this spring.
