Metairie, LA - On Sunday, January 5, 2025, the Prep Baseball Louisiana staff will travel to Mike Miley Stadium to host our second event of the new year with our New Orleans Preseason ID.  This year's event will feature over 40 prospects from the 2025-2029 classes.  Each participant will go through a pro-style workout that will consist of running a laser-timed 60 yard dash using Swift Performance, defensive evaluations, batting practice using Trackman Baseball and Blast Motion, and pitchers will finish the event off by throwing bullpens with Trackman Baseball.  Below, we take a look at the history of this event and some players that we're looking forward to seeing tomorrow.  

 

EVENT HISTORY

Last year's New Orleans Preseason ID saw a total of thirteen prospects who ended up committing to colleges.  One of those guys, 2025 Ryder Planchard (Holy Cross HS), earned a spot on our first-ever Senior Future Games team this past summer.
