The early signing period opens next week, giving 2015 prospects the opportunity to make their verbal commitments official with a signed letter of intent. It’s a key point in the recruiting timeline as verbal commitments are just that—verbal. We’ve seen plenty of recruits change their minds and there was another noteworthy switch recently. SS Trey Dawson (Hurricane HS, WV), the No. 4 prospect in West Virginia’s 2015 class, was committed to West Virginia, but has decided to commit to Louisiana State.
