2025 Minnesota High School Team Previews, Volume IX

Prep Baseball Minnesota strives to be the most comprehensive source of player information across the state. Prep Baseball is the number one resource for high school baseball in each state that we cover through various events, boots-on-the-ground scouting staff, daily coverage, and multimedia platforms. Our multimedia platforms and events work together, creating each state's most potent high school baseball promotion source. While other organizations take a national approach, our goal is to become the authoritative voice on the ground level of each state.

As we prepare for the upcoming 2025 high school season, we will be taking a preseason glimpse at programs from around the state.

SOUTH RIDGE PANTHERS

Head Coach: Aaron Weber (4 seasons, 80-25)

Coach's Comment:
"We are a young team with a lot of upcoming dedicated and talented players. Our pitching staff is deep and should keep us in games with anyone but we have a lot of work to do on offense to compete with state contenders. Our boys are hungry to get back to the state tournament. We have a tough schedule but look forward to another good year!"

ANDOVER HUSKIES

Head Coach: Pete Andersen (6 seasons, 86-40)

"We return a lot of experience and depth in 2025 and are focused on developing our chemistry to lead us back to the state tournament."

BROOKLYN CENTER CENTAURS

Head Coach: Kevin Pitman (5 seasons)

"Last year we won 6 games, the most games BC has won since 2008. This year we plan on taking a shot at .500 with veterans Anders Rydberg and Grant Tenhaeff leading the way. Our pitching staff is going to be stacked with arms and an infusion of young talent has us excited for our best year since we started rebuilding the program in 2020. Go Centaurs!"

WATERTOWN-MAYER ROYALS

Head Coach: Pat Tschida (1 season, 11-12)

Coach's Comment:
"The top of our lineup will have a decent amount of varsity experience and also bring a level of confidence and tenacity that we love to see! The new comers will have to fall into place. We have a lot of athletes at our younger ages and I am excited to see who has been working this offseason to gain weight, muscle, etc. The Wright County Conference is notoriously a deep and talented conference. With that, brings its own challenges and also excitement."

DULUTH EAST GREYHOUNDS

"This year is a mystery. After losing our top 5 pitchers and 1-6 in our lineup, we have a lot of open spots. With 18 seniors and juniors competing for those spots, we won't know what to expect until the middle of our season."

BECKER BULLDOGS

"We will have a very experienced team, 10 Seniors. We will not be flying under the radar this season as we did last year. We will not be sneaking up on anyone. With the Senior leadership that we bring back, we intend to battle for a chance to go to State. Perham and EGF with the mountains that we need to conquer to get there and I feel that we have the team to get that accomplished this season. It will be a great spring!"

BYRON BEARS

Head Coach: Jordan Bale (3 years, 31-18)
