Positional Profile: LHP/OF - Follow in 2021 class.
Body: 5-11, 160-pounds.
Hit: LHH. Wide and open stance. Leg lift and hand load. Looks to elevate. Middle approach with line drive and fly ball contact.
Power: 84 mph exit velocity from the tee. Flashed pull pop
Arm: LH. OF - 86 mph. Long and loose arm action
Defense: Average actions. Attacks ball with clean glove.
Run: 7.26 runner in the 60.
5-foot-11, 155-pound left-handed hitting 2-way player. On mound; raw setup, crouched to start, medium crouched balance point, compact arm action with good hand speed out front, lands slightly across body. Fastball was 82-84 mph with hard late varying action to plate. Small break with inconsistent shape on tighter spinning 1/7 curveball. Controls changeup well, firm velo, with varying run and cut action. 7.15 runner. Square stance, leg kick trigger, stiff hands in swing, harder pull contact, flares oppo, line drive swing plane, 75 mph exit velocity. Easy movements in field, athletic, works through ball with soft hands, shows above avg. arm strength, 85 mph arm from outfield.
10/21/18- 5-foot-11, 150-pound left-handed hitting two-way player. 7.20 runner. Slightly open wider stance with high hand set. Leg lift trigger with minimal hand load. Upper body tends to spin. Pull approach with mainly line drive contact. Average barrel contact. Swing can get stiff and short finish. 81 mph exit velocity. OF- Moves athletically to ball. Good glove and fields ball clean. Solid arm action with 83 mph arm strength and good carry and accuracy. On Mound- Crouched start into balanced delivery. Lands and throw slightly across body. Throws from high ¾ arm slot. Fastball has arm side run thrown at 79-80 mph. Average feel for curveball that has 1/7 break with ok spin and shape thrown at 68-69 mph. Change-up is thrown with ok arm speed with cut action at 74-76 mph.
