IF Ethan Skender (Metamora HS, IL), who was the No. 6 prospect in Illinois’ draft class, recently de-committed from Kansas State and will now attend State College of Florida. A 31st-round pick of the Reds last month, Skender has a strong lower half and natural lift in his spring. He profiles best as an offensive second baseman or corner outfielder.
