The Hotlist: Unsigned Seniors

By Nathan Rode and PBR Staff

Just because the recruiting game has sped up doesn’t mean there aren’t good players still available for college programs. Listed alphabetically below are several seniors still looking for a place to play next year, including some pitchers that can run their fastballs into the high 80s…or better.

Tanner Cantrell, 1B, Houston HS, MO
The 6-foot-3, 200-pound Cantrell uses an explosive lower half and strong hands to generate quick bat speed through the zone and drive the ball with pull side power. At first base, he has good footwork around the bag and sure hands. He also showed some skill at third base during games, with quick reactions to the ball and the ability to keep everything in front of him.
