MONDAY, MARCH 17TH
+ RHP/INF Trey Myers (Mize, 2026) was a standout in all phases at our Preseason All State event in January. On Monday evening he got to show off his ability on the bump and was quite impressive. Myers may still be viewed as more of a position player at the next level to many but his stuff on the mound works as well. The MS Gulf Coast CC recruit worked his fastball in the 87-88 mph range with a high of 90. He also showcased a tight slider with quick actions that resulted in plenty of swings and misses. I’m sure the staff at Perkinston is happy to have the problem of what to do with him.
