Watauga- 0 Alexander Central- 5

PBR was on hand at Alexander Central on Friday March 24th for a Northwestern 4A Conference game between the Watauga Pioneers and the Alexander Central Cougars. The Cougars wasted no time getting on the board scoring two runs in the first. They would add runs in the third and sixth innings. Maddox Jack and Caleb Williams combined for the shutout shutting down the Pioneer offense that had been red hot to start the year. These two clubs will meet again later in the season in Boone.
