Jarvis Stakes His Claim

On Friday night another NC product with MLB Draft potential took the mound as Justin Jarvis (RHP, 2018, UNC Wilmington commit) looked to avenge Lake Norman's only loss on the year at Hough HS.
Jarvis is known more for power arm potential but showed an ability to carry his velocity and mix in his breaking ball and change-up to keep the Hough hitters at bay. Control and command is still a work in progress, but there were not long bouts of wildness during the game.
The matchup also allowed pro scouts to see Jarvis compete as the game was held up at 0-0 into the 6th, before Lake Norman broke through. For a full game report you can check out the Weekeknd Roundup here.
