Bandys- 3  Maiden- 4

PBR of North Carolina was on hand at Maiden High for a battle of the top two teams in the Catawba Valley Athletic 2A Conference. Maiden jumped to an early 4-0 lead scoring 2 runs in both the 1st and 2nd innings. Bandys used a 3-run 3rd inning to get back in the game. With the score at 4-3 Bandys would load the bases with 1 out in the top of the 7th but Maiden pitcher Collin Chappel would keep Bandys off the board and secure the win for Maiden. The win keeps Maiden in the drivers seat for the #1 seed heading into the conference tournament.
