One of the most anticipated match-ups of the 2018 schedule was upon us this past week as No. 1 Ledford HS and No. 4 North Davidson HS teed it up to decide a conference champion.  While the weather moved game two of the matchup back one week, everyone was treated to the first game on Wednesday.  Each club ran out a prospect in game one as North Carolina State commit Logan Whitaker (RHP, Ledford HS, 2018) faced 2021 LHP Merritt Beeker. 

In the end, Whitaker and Ledford won the battle, but each arm showed why they will be followed in the coming weeks and years.  You can view the full game recap HERE.
