This rivalry game featured two young arms hooking it up as Apex visited Apex Friendship.  Apex Sophomore Justin Davis worked 5 innings, giving up 1 earned run and striking out 5.  He was matched by recent NC State commit Luke Hemric.  Hemric, a 2025 LHP, also worked 5 innings, but surrendered runs late in the outing to take the loss. At the plate Apex HS’s Adrian Gonzalez paced the winning lineup with 3 doubles a run and an RBI.
