Summer Scout Days: Infield Arms 

As we continue with our Summer Scout Day series, today we breakdown 3 infielders we saw over the summer that each have infield velocities in the mid 80's. These players are equal when it comes to their arm strength but each have their own individual strengths, lets take a deep dive into what makes each of these players different from the other.

Dean Larkin C / 3B / Marvin Ridge High, NC / 2026 Rankings  StateRank: 76 / POS: 9   Key Stats + 85 INF Velo + 2.01 Pop Time + 88.2 Max EV Scout Notes + 5'11"-180lb strong frame, plus arm from INF/C, pop time of 2.01, max distance of 325ft from a crouched athletic stance, soft hands and quick transfers.

Jackson Semanisin SS / RHP / Fuquay-Varina High, NC / 2026 Rankings  StateRank: 149 / POS: 26   Key Stats + 84 INF Velo + 7.48 Sec 60 + 86.3 Max EV Scout Notes + 6'0"-150lb lanky lean frame, balanced approach from right side, keeps swing on plane, active feet in INF with quick transfers and stable head.
