NCISAA 3rd RD: Saturday May 11, 2024

The Burlington Christian Academy Royals made the trip to Wilson Saturday to take on the Greenfield School Knights in a NCIHSAA Round 2 game. Pitching ruled the day as Christopher Tankersley (2025 RHP) led the Knights to a 3-2 win over Burlington Christian. 

Tankersley allowed 2 runs over 6 innings of work. JD Mace took the hard luck loss for Burlington Christian, striking out 6 in a complete game effort. 

An RBI single by Clark Johnson put the Knights ahead for good in the bottom of the 4th inning. Burlington Christan Academy finishes the 2024 campaign 17-6-1. Greenfield School will host Rocky Mount Academy, Monday at 4:30 in a Quarterfinal matchup.
