Top Performer Spotlight: 2020 C Wyatt Patchett (Geneva HS)
September 6, 2019
Since June 7th, our boot-on-the-ground scouting team have seen 500+ players at showcase events, including the 2019 NYS Games. Already, 100's of players have caught the eyes of our professional scouting staff, all with dreams of playing baseball at the next-level. Over the remainder of the summer I (Dan Cevette) will be highlighting "Top Performer Spotlights" on players who really stood-out and offering my "Quick-Hit" thoughts on the players.

CEVETTE'S QUICK HIT
CEVETTE'S QUICK HIT: At first glace, the greater fingerlakes area prospect passes the eye test. 6-foot-3, athletic, a frame equipped to handle more, and actions across the board that project. In the box he shows balance combined with an aggressive approach. Used all fields but showed more consistent power to his pullside. The frame is large and long, great target size for the backstop position. Arm is mid/upper 70s from behind the plate which is above average, there's carry to the ball and there's more in the tank. Excited to see Patchett's continued growth this fall-spring.
