Cevette's quick hit
CEVETTE'S QUICK HIT: Nameth was impressive back in February standing out as one of the more well-rounded players at the preseason event. He's wiry and lean, above average athleticism (6.93 60), shows off a strong throwing arm from the OF with carry (83), in the batters box the setup is relaxed and the tempo is loose and fluid. Once he took to the mound at the end of the event during the pitching portion, he continued to show our staff his impressive skill set. The arm is long and fluid, has a slow pace to his delivery using rhythm and body timing, throws the ball from a high 3/4 slot with a FB peaking 82 mph and signs of more in the tank once he physically develops. The off-speed offerings were consistent, both showing late action and accuracy. Excited to see Justin at the 2019 NYS Games where he's expected to have a big 3 days.
