At the conclusion of USA Baseball’s Tournament of Stars, a roster of players is announced that will compete in a trials period before the final team is put together for the year’s international championship. For 2014, Team USA’s 18U National Team will travel to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, to compete in the COPABE Pan American Championship in early September. Joining the 10 players automatically invited from previous events (National Team Identification Series and National Team Development Program) were 34 Tournament of Stars participants. They are listed below with a line of skinny and their college commitment in parenthesis. All players are in the 2015 class unless otherwise noted.

Sat 89-92, spun mid-70s curveball and mixed in low-80s changeup

Luken Baker, RHP, Oak Ridge HS, TX (Texas Christian)
Texas-sized (6-foot-4, 240 pounds) power arm with low-90s fastball and sharp curveball
