FORT MYERS, Fla. - Heading to college a year ago, Vince Vannelle was thought of more as a shortstop than pitcher after throwing just 40 innings in high school. But times have changed after pitching one year at Florida SouthWestern State College.
This summer Vannelle was named the Top Pitching Prospect in the Great Lakes League. While another year at school awaits in Florida, Vannelle’s ultimate future will be out west after committing to the University of Arizona. |
