Scouting Report
6-foot-2, 180-pound thin frame with room to fill. Comes from straight over the top arm slot, with average arm speed. Has a tendency to fall off to the side after his follow through off balanced. Fastball is straight at 80-83 mph touching 84 mph. His 12/6 curveball was slow at 63-64 mph with average gradual break, and also flashed a change at 70 mph and a slider which maybe his better breaking pitch at 66-67 mph. Thobe also throws a changeup that sits 74-76 mph. At a showcase in 2013, Thobe ran a 7.13 60-yard dash showcasing his athleticism.
