Scouting Report
Clarkson, 6-foot-2, 217-pounds, is a big physical lefty from the Ontario Blue Jays. He has a projectable pitcher’s body that has more in the tank, he’s a strike thrower, sits low 80’s with his fastball and has topped at 84 mph. Clarkson possesses a loopy curveball that’s 66-67 mph as well as a hard slider at 72-73 mph. His changeup is at 72-73 mph with some nice depth to it. A Dodge City commit, he has all the makings of an arm who can make big jumps at the JUCO level.
