Each week throughout the high school season, we will announce the Prep Baseball Oregon Pitcher and Hitter of the Week, recognizing standout performances from across the state. With numerous players excelling both at the plate and on the mound, this award will be based on nominations submitted through our POTW Google Form.

Additionally, we will continue our Oregon Diamond Notes to highlight other deserving players nominated by coaches who were not selected as the Pitcher or Hitter of the Week.

This week's Pitcher of the Week is '25 RHP Fisher Winchester (Sandy).

Fisher Winchester RHP / 3B / Sandy High School, OR / 2025 Rankings  StateRank: 91 / POS: 18 Senior arm Fisher Winchester earns Pitcher of the Week honors for week one of the Oregon HS baseball season. The Lower Columbia commit worked a complete game shutout, allowing just two hits and no walks while striking out eight. Winchester is a lean righty strike thrower that will be an important part of Sandy High School's spring season.
