Bat Speed: Wesley Showed some impressive bat speed this winter and a jump from the PA State Games last year getting his peak up to nearly 84 MPH with a average of 77 MPH. This put him in the top end of the Pro range! The bat speed translated into his BP at the Outlaws Scout Day where he had a 100% hard hit %, peak exit velo 102 MPH and a average exit velo of 97 MPH. Big time number from the uncommitted '22.
Rotational Acceleration: Wesley went up a tik in this metric getting his peak up to 18.2 G's showing he has the ability to accelerate quickly into his advanced bat speed. His average rotational acceleration is 10.6G's but the more consistently he is able to use his lower half to initiate the swing he should see his average increase as well.
