TOP PITCHING PERFORMANCES
- 2021 RHP Trey Yesavage (Boyertown), who recently committed to Pitt following a standout performance at the PBR Future Games, sat 87-90 from a high 3/4 arm slot during three innings of work. The 6-foot-4, 220-pound junior also showcased a biting 11/5 curveball at 73-75 and an occasional changeup at 75-76. He struck out two and allowed two hits during his outing.
- 2021 LHP Danny Eden (Twin Valley) sat 74-76 from a 3/4 arm slot with an easy, repeatable delivery. Over two innings he struck out three and did not allow a hit while also getting three ground ball outs. Eden also showcased above average feel for a 1/7 breaking curveball at 64-66.
- 2021 LHP Colton Book (Manheim Central), a recent participant for Team PA in the PBR Future Games, sat 82-84 from an easy 3/4 delivery while also showing advanced feel for his curveball at 72-74 and a changeup at 75-76. Book worked three scoreless innings without allowing a hit. He walked three, but showcased an advanced pickoff move that allowed him to retire all three baserunners via a pickoff.
- 2020 RHP Lenny Washington (Hurricane, WV) allowed one run over four innings of work topping at 91 mph from a 3/4 arm slot. A slider with tight, late break at 73-77 gives Washington two college ready pitches at this time. The uncommitted 6-foot-2, 195-pounder struck out five and allowed four hits. He showcased above average command, not walking a batter in his outing. Washington committed to Gardner-Webb yesterday.
TOP HITTING PERFORMANCES
- 2020 SS/3B Pete Capobianco (Dallastown Area), a member of the Team PA roster at the 2018 PBR Future Games, went 2-for-6 with a double and an RBI, walked three times and scored three runs over the weekend. The 6-foot-1, 210-pound infielder showcased a soft glove hand, solid footwork and a quick release in making all the plays defensively. Although likely a third baseman at the next level, he shows solid range and an advanced internal clock while at shortstop as well. Capobianco committed to Garnder-Webb shortly after the completion of the event.
