PBR Fall Kickoff Showcase Tournament Recap: Lehigh Valley Rising Stars

The annual Fall Kickoff Showcase tournament took place August 16-18 at Cooper Park on the campus of Millersville University.
Today we continue a recap of the teams that participated and some of the top performers on each roster.

TOP PITCHING PERFORMANCES
- 2021 RHP Owen Arndt (Lewisburg Area) sat 84-85 out of a high 3/4 arm slot with an overhead rocker to his delivery. Arndt also showcased command of an 11/5 breaking curveball at 72-73 and changeup at near fastball arm speed that sat 75-78. The junior allowed one run in two innings of work allowing just one hit and one walk.
TOP HITTING PERFORMANCES
- 2021 OF Wyatt Marshall (Liberty) showcased top of the order skills in his left-hand swing all weekend going 4-for-9 while repeatedly going deep in counts and finding a way to put pressure on the defense. The 5-foot-10, 160-pounder takes solid routes in the outfield and covers an above average amount of territory.
- 2021 SS Brayden D'Amico (Liberty) found his way to first base in seven of nine plate appearances over three games. The 5-foot-10, 150-pound right-handed hitter officially went 3-for-5 while also walking three times and was also hit by a pitch. D'Amico applied pressure on opposing defenses with his feet swiping a pair of bags in three attempts.
