Clement's athleticism was evident defensively at the Elite Prospect Showcase in November. The 5-foot-9, 170-pound middle infielder exhibited good feet and hands, a whippy arm action with the ability to throw accurately from multiple arm angles. In his BP round, Clement started slightly open and strode to square and wide. A short raise of his hands in his load got him to a good launch position, from which point he took a short path to the ball, flashing good bat speed and staying inside the ball well.
