One of the best athletes in the 2015 class remains uncommitted. OF Marquis Doherty (Winnetonka HS, MO) is making official visits this winter and expects to make a decision in the spring. Most prospects are verbally committed before their senior year starts and make it official during the early signing period in the fall. So why is Doherty on a different timeline? Not only is he a standout on the diamond, Doherty excels on the football field as well and is looking to play both sports in college. He has narrowed his list to five schools: Iowa, Kansas State, Louisville, Missouri and Oregon. + SS Tyler Smith (Grandview HS, CO) became the first player from Team Select at this year’s Future Games to commit, verbally pledging to Ohio.

+ Another Team Select member, LHP Gavin Sullivan (Eastern HS, KY), committed to Louisville.
