The 2025 Tennessee high school baseball season is quickly approaching and, as usual, excitement is abound throughout the state. Players and coaches have been working in preparation for the upcoming season and, as is the case each year, there are some very talented players and teams across Tennessee.

Teams across the state have goals and aspirations to finish their seasons in Murfreesboro at the state tournament championships – but there is plenty of work to be done before that becomes reality. We hope to familiarize our readers with many of the teams across the state as we preview individual teams across Tennessee. We will take you right up to first pitch this season with these team previews, eventually releasing our Preseason Power 25 rankings that’ll carry us into the opening week of action.

2025 OUTLOOK

+ The Tennessee High School baseball program went 24-6 in 2024. The Vikings will return 4 starters and 2 pitchers this spring. It was a bit of a disappointing season for Tennessee High as they are a perennial powerhouse in the 3A classification and consistently make it to the state tournament. 

The junior class returns two impact players. 2026 RHP/OF Gage Graziano has legit potential as a pitcher working in the upper 80s. He will also be a tone setter at the top of the lineup. 2026 OF Dayne Musick is an explosive two sport athlete that is an old school type player. He will be a speedster at the top of the lineup. 

The freshman class also brings in a special trio that will see the field immediately for the Vikings. 2028 MIF Hudson Pender will look to see time immediately as the shortstop. 2028 MIF/RHP Knox Keesee is in prime position to be the starting second baseman and will also see time on the mound as a freshman. 2028 OF/RHP Colton Cross will man the center field position and complete a strong foundation up the middle for the next four years. 

Tennessee High comes in as a very young team with strong junior and freshman classes. This youth should help Tennessee build back a team that can return to Murfreesboro and make a run at the big prize in 3A baseball.
