TEXAS - Each week, PBR Texas will be showcasing an Offensive Player of the Week as well a Pitcher of the Week. These are names submitted by High School Coaches. Honorable Mentions will be released the following day under "Diamond Notes". Thank you to all the coaches that submitted players this week.

 

PITCHER OF THE WEEK

Rawley Hector - RHP - 2021 - Anna - Texas A&M Commit

Hector was lights out on the mound this week. In six and a third innings, he allowed no hits, no walks and struck out sixteen. With another stellar performance under his belt, look for Hector to keep it rolling on the mound during his Senior season. 

HITTER OF THE WEEK

Matthew Gula - SS - 2022 -  Round Rock Westwood - Uncommitted

Gula put up an impressive stat line this past week, going four for six with three homeruns, driving in ten and scoring five himself. Of the three homeruns, Gula tallied TWO grand slams in a district game against Hutto.
