Mizuno Pitcher & Hitter of the Week (Week 4)

Each week during the high school season, we will be announcing the Mizuno Pitcher and Player of the Week for that particular week. Numerous players across the state continue to put up impressive numbers both as position players and pitchers on the mound. This year we will be selecting one Pitcher of the Week and one Player of the Week based on nominations from high school coaches across the state.
Thank you to the many high school coaches that sent in nominations this week.
Let's take a look at the Mizuno Player and Pitcher of the Week for Week 4 (Mar 10-Mar 16).
MIZUNO PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Isaac Rios SS / South Grand Prairie, TX / 2025Isaac Rios, a 2025 third baseman from South Grand Prairie High School and Grayson College commit, had a dominant Week 4 at the plate. He went 5-for-7, crushing three home runs and driving in five runs. Rios showed off his power and ability to drive the baseball. He is one to keep an eye on for the remainder of the season.

Drew Emery RHP / 1B / Stratford, TX / 2026Rankings StateRank: 118 / POS: 33
Drew Emery, a 2026 right-handed pitcher from Stratford High School, was lights-out in Week 4. He threw a complete-game no-hitter, going 7 innings with 13 strikeouts while allowing just one walk. Emery dominated from start to finish, overwhelming hitters with his command and solid 3 pitch mix. A good uncommitted 2026 to follow.
