Appomattox started the scoring in the bottom of the second on a few walks, an error, and extend a then 1-0 lead on a Trey Shrock two RBI single into left center. The Raiders would continue to take advantage of walks and some timely hits throughout the middle innings, as they put up a crooked number in the third through the fifth innings. Appomattox took advantage of fifteen free bases on the day and would run away with this one by a final score of 11-2 over Nelson County.
