New Episode LIVE now! - At The Yard Podcast

SAN RAMON, CALIF. - Our third ever scout day with Top Tier NorCal took place on Saturday 1/28/23 at Dougherty Valley HS in San Ramon. On a cool morning we saw an enthusiastic group ranging from the 2024-2026 classes. 

Players were put through the traditional showcase workout that included the 60-yard dash (w/10 & 30-yard splits as well), hitting session, defensive session, concluded with pitchers throwing a 15-20 pitch pen session.

As per usual, the coming days will have posts reflecting more statistical leaders via TrackMan, Blast, and Swift Tech. Today it's the traditional run, throw, hit stats.

From a base-stealing start position using Swift Technology

Exit Velocity

These numbers are a represent what the players did in live BP, velocities via TrackMan B1 unit

Infield Velocity (MIF/3B/1B)

Making throws from 3B and SS positions, velocities via Stalker Sport II

Outfield Velocity

Making throws to 3rd base and home plate from right field

Catcher Velocity

Popping from the crouch position, Stalker II set on out-bound from behind the catcher

Pop Times

Each made 4-5 throws down to 2nd base
