FULLERTON, CALIF. - Players gathered at Maranatha Christian School for the San Diego Fall ID. They were run through a traditional workout which evaluated their speed, fielding, catching, and pitching. Keep a lookout in the coming days for leaderboards from this event.

Our team measures the statistics below using Blast Motion's Swing Analyzers that attach to the knob of the bat. This is the most reliable source for this data and allows scouts to further evaluate a player's swing.

The speed of the sweet spot of the bat at contact.

Max Rotational Acceleration

How quick the bat accelerates in a swing, measured in grams.

Average On Plane Efficiency

The percentage of the swing where the bat is on the swing plane.
