Pleasant Plains 10, Auburn 4
 Pleasant Plains  (26-11) erupted for nine runs in the third inning to erase a 2-1 Auburn  lead and rolled to the regional championship at home in Plains. Johnny  Steinwart was 3-for-4 with a double and two RBI while Alex Edwards added  two doubles and two RBI for the Cardinal.
No. 5 O’Fallon 7, Troy-Triad 4 (8 innings) 
 O’  Fallon (31-3) rallied past the Knights, scoring three runs in the top of  the seventh to tie the game and then scored three more in the eighth to  win it. In the seventh inning uprising, Jeff Hahs’ two-run single  brought the Panthers to within one at 4-3. Bradley Harrison’s single  tied the game at 4-4. In the eighth, Harrison came through again, this  with a clutch two-out two run single to right. The Panthers picked up  the third run of the inning on a Knight miscue. Collin Holton fired two  scoreless innings in relief to pick up the win. 
No. 16 Libertyville 8, Glenbrook North 2
 Libertyville  (29-5) won for the fifth time this week, trouncing the Spartans behind  Hunter VanWagner and Jimmy Govern. VanWagner doubled and plated three  Wildcat RBI while Govern added two singles and two RBI for the ‘Cats.  STAT NOTE: Libertyville’s Evan Skoug is hitting .391 with nine doubles,  four triples, four homers and 29 RBI.
