Another busy week of games across the Old Line State, as this scout blog edition will highlight three games across the backend of the week that included Dulaney vs. Towson, Elkton vs. Patterson Mill, and St. Paul's vs. McDonogh. Below you will find impact players from the games with video and scout notes on each.

Towson

Henry Lohr RHP / Towson High, MD / 2026

The uncommitted junior got the start for Towson on the bump and worked an efficient 6.2 IP, giving up just two runs with six strikeouts. It’s a lean, fairly athletic makeup with consistent strike throwing ability, showcasing feel for the fastball to both sides of the plate. The heater won’t jump out velo wise, however it gets on hitters quickly and plays up from the 80-81 mph range. The slider showed feel away and down to right-handed hitters and kept opposing bats off balance just enough to sneak the fastball in on the hands. This is an arm that knows how to locate and stays out of the middle of the plate.

Jacob Dudley 1B / RHP / Towson High, MD / 2025

Big time fan of this senior bat. Middle to top of the order profile with athleticism and plenty of sneaky power that was showcased full in the game against Dulaney. Dudley turned around an 86 mph fastball for a no-doubt 2 RBI bomb to left-center field, showcasing quick twitch and plenty of hand speed through the zone. It’s a line drive approach, with the ability to spray to both gaps and evident strength to the pull side.

Dulaney

Connor Dow LHP / 1B / Dulaney High, MD / 2025

One of the more intriguing uncommitted arms I’ve seen so far this spring, college coaches need to get on Connor Dow immediately. Possessing a physical, yet sneaky athletic frame, the fastball has ticked up this calendar year and now sits comfortably in the mid 80s with the ability to get up into the upper 80s on occasion. Plenty of deception and tough arm action from the left side, Dow mixes the fastball and slider well off each other with the ability to miss bats in and out of the zone with the heater. The slider is still developing, however, showed solid feel for it and was able to induce whiffs down and on occasion, backdoor the spin to right-handed hitters. This is a “can’t miss” uncommitted southpaw that should be a hot commodity for college coaches throughout the spring. Finished the game working 4+ innings and striking out nine.

Elkton

Kaleb Kennedy 3B / SS / Elkton High, MD / 2026

A physical corner infielder that our staff has been on for some time now, Kennedy showed well at the plate in an early look this spring and continues to showcase the present heaviness in the barrel and pull side juice. Rhythm at the dish with strength in the hands/wrists, as the barrel awareness and swing decisions continue to climb, look for Kennedy to take off and be a consistent power threat at the dish.

Patterson Mill

Logan Scheeler SS / 2B / Patterson Mill High School, MD / 2027

Came out of the day impressed with the actions on both sides from Scheeler. It’s an athletic makeup with fluid, clean actions up the middle with arm strength that potentially could keep the sophomore on the left side of the diamond at the next level. The body still needs to mature and fill out, however, the actions and IQ allow the skillset to play up. The hit tool is strong and consistent at the top of this Patterson Mill lineup, showcasing some sneaky pop to the pull side with the ability to manipulate the barrel on occasion for line drives to both gaps. A top of the order profile that sets the table for the big bats behind him, look for Scheeler to open plenty of eyes not only throughout this spring, but for years to come across the UCBAC.

Tre McInnes C / RHP / Patterson Mill High School, MD / 2026

I’ve talked at length about McInnes in the past, and it looks like 2025 may be a year that the uncommitted backstop takes that next step as one of the more sought after uncommitted players in the class. Defensively, you’re going to be hard pressed to find a more agile and impact catcher behind the plate, showcasing above average arm strength and clean receiving skills with impactful catch and throw ability. A “brick wall” behind the dish, McInnes shuts down a run game and blocks at a rate that’s tough to compare with any other catcher in the class. The hit tool continues to spark, staying short through the zone with feel for the barrel, consistently showcasing the strength to the pull side with the ability to backspin to the gaps and alleys. The muscle is continuously being added to the frame, and I look for power numbers to quickly rise as the summer months approach.

McDonogh

Max Rose 2B / SS / MCDONOGH SCHOOL, MD / 2026

If you have followed me for a while, you know I’m a big fan of left-handed hitting shortstops, and Max Rose has now been added to my list. Slightly undersized, the actions are clean and smooth up the middle with the ability to range side to side effectively and efficiently. The arm strength is still being added, however a quick first step and active feet allow the arm strength to tick up slightly. The hit tool is what impressed me the most, showcasing the ability to cover both sides of the plate and utilize the whole field with a strong line drive approach. A top of the order profile, Rose can work the count and manipulate the barrel with two strikes with the ability to spray line drives to all fields.

Leo Antwerpen LHP / 1B / McDonogh School, MD / 2026

My first look in-game at the physical southpaw in some time, the actions and mechanics are something that jumped out at me right away. Coming off an arm injury that sidelined him a year ago, Antwerpen mechanically looks back to his old self, showcasing a smooth, repeatable operation down the bump with controlled intent and plenty of quick arm speed through release. Look for the fastball to continue to tick up as the spring months go on, sitting 86-88 in this one. The curveball showed really nice feel, especially when down in the zone, inducing weak contact and whiffs consistently throughout the outing. The left-on-left changeup has some intrigue as well, killing the spin and showcasing some fade down in the low 80s. This is one of the top uncommitted lefties in the class, and a huge spring with an even bigger summer is quickly on the horizon. Finished this one with 4 IP, 1 walk and 8 strikeouts on 68% strikes.

Anderson Lambert OF / 3B / Mcdonogh, MD / 2027

The number one player in our 2027 rankings, the two-way standout certainly didn't disappoint at the dish in this one, notching four hits with a couple loud barrels throughout. The body has matured tremendously over the past few months and the strength is now eye-opening, showcasing easy power to both gaps with the consistent feel for the barrel that has not swayed ever since his middle school years. An athletic, highly projectable prospect, Lambert continues to climb the national ranks and should see an even bigger jump as we head towards the summer.

St. Paul's

Eli Livingston OF / RHP / St. Paul's School, MD / 2026

This was a huge opportunity to see one of the top 2026’s match up with a polished southpaw at the dish, and the Maryland commit showed very well on the day. The approach was controlled, yet still powerful and did not get cheated on the swings he did get off. An extended 10 pitch at-bat was the highlight of my day, fouling off multiple tough breaking balls and changeups, and turning around 86 for a loud foul ball pullside before forcing a walk. Still plenty of hand speed and barrel whip, look for the power to tick up this spring and into a key summer for the 2026 outfielder.
