Every few years, Wisconsin has a Division I prospect that catches some draft attention and is a known commodity at the national level. At its current rate, the 2016 class could bring unprecedented attention to the state. Seven of Wisconsin’s top 10 players are already verbally committed to D-I programs and more figure to be on the way. That was obvious with the performances by RHP Nathan Brown (Arrowhead HS, WI) and LHP Jack Eagan (Wautoma HS, WI) at the Prep Baseball Report Future Games, followed by the inclusion of Eagan, C Ben Rortvedt (Verona HS, WI), 3B Justin Lavey (Tremper HS, WI) and SS Gavin Lux (Indian Trail HS, WI) in the Area Code Underclass Games.
