Several prospects in Illinois narrowly missed out on this week’s Porsche Exchange Player of the Week Award, won by Sullivan’s Nick Frerichs thanks to his IHSA record 20 consecutive. In today’s Illinois Insider: Weekly Diamond Notes we’ll focus on who’s hot around the state:

+ Ryan Kramer, OF, Nazareth, 2015
Nazareth went 6-0 sweeping St. Patrick, Benet and Carmel this week. Kramer was 15 for 24 with 2 doubles, 4 homers, 9 RBI's and 8 runs scored. He hit a two run homer in the bottom of the seventh to tie the game at 3-3 against Carmel. Nazareth is 19-3 and 9-1 in the ESCC.
