The high school season is winding down and usually unsigned seniors are filling in at junior colleges or programs below Division I. Occasionally, a prospect will latch on with a D-I this late. After being unsigned and reportedly committing and decommitting from a couple junior colleges, RHP Anthony Herron (Affton HS, MO) has made his decision. He confirmed to Prep Baseball Report last night that he committed to Indiana State. Herron offered some intrigue from a draft perspective with his projectable frame. Despite his velocity being down this spring, he could’ve been considered an easy sign because he didn’t have a college commitment as leverage. But that’s changed now.
