Former Indiana head coach Tracy Smith has moved on to Arizona State, but he’s still mining Midwest talent. On Thursday, Smith got a verbal commitment from 6-foot-8, 235-pound RHP Liam Jenkins (Lincoln-Way North HS), who recently earned top prospect honors at the PBR Illinois Top Prospect Showcase after he sat 90-92 mph. Jenkins is currently the No. 19 overall ranked prospect in the 2015 class.
