Idaho HS Pitcher of the Week (March 24-30)

The Prep Baseball Idaho High School 'Pitcher of the Week' highlights the best performance for an Idaho High School pitcher from the previous week. Each week, High School coaches across the State are asked to fill out our questionnaire for Pitcher and Player of the Week, along with our scouting staff attending games and scouring box scores throughout the week. Every Saturday a link will be pushed out on social accounts to the Player/Pitcher of the Week questionnaire with a deadline of Saturday night at 11:59PM, followed by the announcement on Sunday.
Our first 'Pitcher of the Week' goes to '25 LHP Lincoln Mathis (Rocky Mountain) following his five-inning perfect game against Centennial, just the second perfect game in Rocky Mountain's school history.

'25 LHP Lincoln Mathis (College of Southern Idaho commit) couldn't have been any better in his start on Friday against Centennial as he was perfect over five innings while also racking up 12 punchouts. Mathis picked up 80% of his outs via the strikeout as the game went just five innings as the Grizzlies took home a 10-0 victory. It was the second straight quality start from the left-hander, picking up wins in both games, but Mathis turned out the best performance of his career to-date. The Grizzlies are now 7-4 on the season and 1-0 in 5A Southern Idaho conference play.
