As we look back on the 2025 summer tournament circuit here in Kansas City, we’ll be breaking down the top players by tool from each class — based on evaluations from our scouting team at Homefield and Creekside. Follow along as we take a deep dive into these players and highlight the summers they put together. Each week will feature our top five players based on each tool from the class, presented in no particular order.
Top Power Tool Class of 2027

Warren Robertson OF / RHP / Rockhurst, MO / 2027

Robertson may have the highest ceiling on both the hitting and pitching sides of the ball of anyone we saw in 2025. His 6-foot-3, 200-pound frame projects extremely well both on the mound and at the plate. The Notre Dame commit has already posted exit velocities into the 104 mph range, and we believe there’s significantly more power to come as he continues to learn how to use his long levers.
This summer, Robertson put up impressive power numbers for a stacked Building Champions 16U National team that went undefeated in Prep Baseball KC play. He finished with a 1.125 OPS, collecting ten doubles, four triples, and three home runs.
